BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, 1620-P. Potosi Mint; Assayer Juan Jimenez de Tapia (T). Philip III. PCGS Genuine--Salt Water Damage, VF Details.
KM-9; Cal-777. Weight: 11.87 gms. An attractive Atocha find struck on a ragged but broad planchet. The saltwater corrosion left most of the pertinent details intact, including the assayer's initial and the second and fourth digits of the date. A nearly complete Habsburg shield on the obverse and central cross with castles and lions on the reverse make this a highly appealing specimen.

Includes original Certificate of Authenticity from Treasure Salvors, Inc. To view all items from the Pat Johnson Collection, click here.

From the Pat Johnson Collection.

Ex: Atocha shipwreck, sunk on 6 September 1622 off the coast of what is now the Florida Keys, certificate # 85A-132317.

Estimate: $400 - $600
