BOLIVIA. Duo of Cob 4 Reales (2 Pieces), ND (ca. 1598-1621). Potosi Mint. Philip III. Both PCGS Certified.
cf. KM-9; Cal-Type-148 (both coins). An interesting duo of early 4 Reales cobs. Though neither coin retains enough detail to decisively identify them, the style of the dies used points to mintage during the reign of Philip III. One piece is cracked at the 12 o'clock position on the obverse. Some intriguing detail remains on both coins despite the noted wear and damage.
