BOLIVIA. Trio of Cob 4 Reales (3 pieces), ND (ca. 1622-29)-P. Potosi Mint. Philip IV. All PCGS Certified.
An intriguing set of cobs from the reign of Philip IV. While all were struck within a few years of each other, each coin offers its own individual attractions. No dates are visible on any of the pieces, so attributions were made by examination of assayer's marks and the minute differences between coins struck in different years of each assayer's tenure. Each piece is laden with detail to explore, particularly the sharply-struck third coin in this lot.
