KM-30; Cal-1170. Weight: 13.75 gms. This 4 Reales Cob is impressively original. Its obverse displays a denomination and a bold date in the center. Though the peripheries become flat, a mintmark and assayer are decipherable. The reverse does not retain any details due to flatness and the rather ragged flan, but offers a charming cross with castles and lions. This piece is enhanced by a beautiful old cabinet tone.
