BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, 1719-P. Potosi Mint; Assayer Diego de Ybarbouru (Y). Philip V. PCGS Genuine--Salt Water Damage, EF Details.
KM-30; Cal-1171. Weight: 11.71 gms. Through the moderate saltwater damage, it is clear that the underlying coin is nicely centered and well-preserved. The obverse central devices show the denomination, assayer, and date rather clearly. The reverse is just as pleasing, with an added assayer and somewhat corroded date surrounding the attractive central cross with its castles and lions. An impressive example, especially for a shipwreck salvage. To view all items from the Pat Johnson Collection, click
