KM-161.5. A curiously off-center error. The portions of the design that made it onto the planchet are quite well-preserved though undoubtedly circulated. The surfaces are toned to a pleasing mottled gray. The noted test cuts are on the obverse at 5 o'clock, likely done because this blatant error aroused suspicion. Since the cuts were made on the blank portion of the planchet, they do not interfere with the design and in this cataloger's opinion, only enhance the intrigue this coin offers.
