CHILE. Silver Proclamation Medal (4 Reales), 1833. PCGS SPECIMEN-62.
Fonrobert-9853. By F. B. Venegas. Commemorating the proclamation of the constitution. Obverse: radiant star over constitution, laurel and sword; Reverse: Seven line inscription within wreath. About 4 Reales in size, this silver medal features a strikingly artistic obverse. The surfaces shine with luster, moderated by the deep gray toning throughout that shows hints of crimson. Wonderfully preserved and crisply detailed, this medal does show some small scratches in the fields and a minor planchet flaw at 9 o'clock on the obverse. Nonetheless, an exceptional medal with terrific eye appeal. To view all items from the Pat Johnson Collection, click
