Fonrobert-7739; Medina-415. Diameter: 30mm. Commemorating the proclamation of Isabel II as empress in Havana. A pleasing medallic issue with argent surfaces and well-preserved detail. The rather restrained designs present handsomely on the lustrous fields. A discolored spot on the reverse is evidence of cleaning, but the piece can otherwise only be faulted for the various minor contact marks scattered on its surfaces, typical for the issue.
