GUATEMALA. Cob 4 Reales, 1734-G. Guatemala Mint; Assayer Jose de Leon y Losa (J). Philip V. PCGS Genuine--Salt Water Damage, EF Details.
KM-5; Cal-1005. Weight: 12.55 gms. Beneath the noted saltwater damage, it is evident that this 4 Reales piece was only lightly circulated. The pillars and globes on the obverse are sharply detailed, as are the crowned arms on the reverse. Most peripheral detail is missing, but the full date is generously retained. An appealing and well-detailed coin despite the corrosion. To view all items from the Pat Johnson Collection, click
