KM-38; Cal-Type-275. Weight: 12.87 gms. This overdate is listed in Calico for the 8 Reales only; this issue thus may have been struck with an 8 Reales obverse die. This argent Cob shows a bold full date with a clear overdate on the final digit. Beside the date, the mintmark and assayer appears just as clearly. The reverse shows a nicely complete cross with a small chopmark on the upper left castle. The piece additionally shows some creases but is overall quite a charming example.
