KM-40A; Cal-1091. Weight: 11.41 gms. This deeply toned Cob is well-circulated and compact, but retains enough detail to show its interesting over-assayer mark along with the clear mintmark and date. The reverse adds a pleasing cross with castles and lions. The coin displays plenty of honest wear on its gunmetal surfaces, but remains an attractive example on account of its originality.
