PERU. Cob 4 Reales, 1710-L. Lima Mint; Assayer Francisco Hurtado (H). Philip V. PCGS Genuine--Tooled, VF Details.
KM-33; Cal-1029. Weight: 13.35 gms. This attractively toned cob was struck off-center and with some flatness, but remains a pleasingly detailed example. The obverse displays the denomination, mintmark, assayer's initial, and date rather legibly. The reverse offers an additional complete three-digit date and assayer's initial. This coin exudes eye appeal that far surpasses its grade, as the noted tooling is confined to the flat areas of the flan and the details are nicely struck and bold.
