PERU. Cob 4 Reales, 1741/0-L. Lima Mint; Assayer Fernando de Vargas (V). Philip V. PCGS Genuine--Salt Water Damage, EF Details.
KM-33A; Cal-Type-133. Weight: 12.99 gms. This overdate Lima cob is remarkably well-preserved and attractive considering that it suffered saltwater damage. This coin's surfaces offer two denomination marks, a clear date, and identifiable fragments of the mintmark and assayer's initial. The curve of the digit "0" is rather obvious behind the "1", adding to the appeal of this attractive piece. To view all items from the Pat Johnson Collection, click
