PERU. Trio of Cob 4 Reales (3 pieces), 1737-40. Lima Mint. Philip V. All PCGS Certified.
This intriguing grouping of Lima cobs were all recovered from the 1743 Princess Louisa Shipwreck, and thus exhibit the tell-tale saltwater corrosion on their surfaces. Despite this, all three pieces offer generous details including clear dates and some pleasing reverse castles and lions. This lot presents a great opportunity to acquire a trio of coins that sunk together in the same wreck.
