CUBA. 20 Pesos, 1915. Philadelphia Mint. PCGS MS-64.
Fr-1; KM-21. Lovely medium gold surfaces exhibit tinges of pale rose and orange-apricot as the coin rotates under a light. Fully lustrous and sharply struck, with the usual chatter present at lower grades mostly absent from the fields. From a series with a strong following among both American numismatists and Cuban specialists, we expect this example will command a handsome sum when it crosses the auction block.

Dies engraved and prepared by Charles E. Barber. These issues were struck at the Philadelphia Mint, on the same weight standard and fineness of contemporary United States $20 gold coins.

Estimate: $2500 - $3500
