HONDURAS. 4 Reales, 1852-TG. Tegucigalpa Mint. NGC AU-53.
KM-20B. Broad date variety. Bright and reflective for the grade with a good portion of the original silver wash still bright. At this point of debasement, silver fineness of the flan had dropped to 0.0625. A deep cobalt blue tone rests across the higher points of the design, and there is just the slightest sign of friction across the mountain peaks and some of the foliage in the tree. Will struck for this RARE issuance and perfect for Central American experts.
Ex: Richard Stuart Collection.
Estimate: $200 - $400
