Cayon-1289. An outstanding Silver 1 Real of Spain. Deep steel gray toning with a two line circular legend surrounding a crowned. "P" for Pedro on the obverse. Four shields within a rounded quadrangle on the reverse. "S" below the quadrangle indicating Sevilla mint. Just missing an uncirculated designation for this exceptional 14th century coin, and bordering on RARE when found at this grade level.
