KM-Unlisted; Cal- Unlisted. We have here an incredible coin. First, we have a 4 Reales of Philip III graded MS 65★ by NGC. There are no 4 Reales for the year 1619 graded this high, and there are no other dates of the king's reign with a 4 Reales graded MS 65★. Second, the coin is of remarkable quality. Inspiring slate gray toning with wondrous underlying luster. Every detail is sharply struck. The date is partially off the flan, but legible. Third, this 4 Reales of Burgos is not found in any catalog we have checked and it has never been offered for sale that we know of. It is obviously a major conditional RARITY. This coin would grace any collection.
