Pr-3044. Struck in the name of Alexander III (the Great). Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; Nike flying right above Caduceus in left field; monogram below throne. An attractive example, delivering an expressive strike and much luster, with beautiful toning softly swatched throughout. A pretty Tetradrachm for any specialists in Alexander types.
