FRANCE. Jeton, "1813". NGC MS-64.
This Medal celebrates the General Insurance Company of Paris, and is dated 1813 with portrait of king Louis XVIII. However, Louis XVIII didn't become king until 1814. In any case, we have an octagonal Medal depicting a ship floundering at sea and a mother and child waiting hopefully for their sailor to return. Medalist is Barre, and the width of the Medal is 30 mm.
