Obverse: ACADEMIE NATIONALE AGRICOLE MANUFACTURIERE ET COMMERCIALE / FONDE A PARIS EN 1830 / RECONSTITUE EN 1848, facing radiant personification of the sun above the Earth, focused upon the eastern hemisphere, among the clouds; Reverse: ENCOURAGEMENT AUX INDUSTRIES AGRICOLE MANUFACTURIRE ET COMMERCIALE, MEDAILLE / DECERNEE / A in three lines, with area below engraved "DR. / E. COMENDADOR; all within wreath. Edge: [cornucopia] CUIVRE. Brilliant and highly reflective, with only a few scattered marks in the central reverse field. Great sunface type.
