A flashy, sharply cameoed, and boldly struck medal that commemorates the renewal of issuances of the Iron Cross at the start of the First World War. The fields show slight amber, russet, and teal-blue iridescence, especially in the peripheries, while the centers remain argent. VERY SCARCE and perfect for German Empire medal specialists.
