Fr-1. Weight: 3.51 gms. Obverse: Stylized figure of king charging on warhorse; Reverse: Qinas Cross of pointed shields with 7-pointed stars in the angles. Missing the upper portion of the flan, this example is otherwise well struck and preserved with bright surfaces. Highly desirable as the first gold coin of Portugal, it is from a seldom encountered issue perennially sought by Portuguese specialists.
