(1835-40) with beautiful Mint Error: 'Obverse brockage error' - Error showing an incuse, mirror image of obverse King William IV head design on the reverse instead of the usual reverse design' - rare - VF/XF, so-called 'Lakhi', it is presumed that statistically about one in a lakh (100.000) happen to be a brockage, that's why in India they are generally referred to as "Lakhi". It also could be a straightforward corruption of the word 'lucky' and may have its origins in the charm-like qualities that people would attribute to the brockage, which were rare occurrences.
