THRACE, Maroneia. Circa 411-397 BC. AR stater (12,31 g). Struck under the magistrate, Heroboulos. Horse springing to left, / HPO-BOY-ΛOΣ, Grape vine with four bunches of grapes, all within linear square; ivy leaf to left; all within a shallow incuse square. Obverse struck with slightly worn die and very light corrosion in fields. Wonderful deep iridescent cabinet toning.
