Greece 5.10.1926 PMG About UNC 55 5000 Drachmai (Specimen)
Despite being identified by PMG as P-101s, this is actually an unlisted type, with overprint for the Bank of Greece. Not issued, and very scarce as a specimen. This is a what we call a "Greek" specimen, which was sent to Greece by the American Banknote Company at the time of issue, and did not come from the ABNC archives sold in the 1990s. It is much scarcer than the latter specimens. PMG mentions "Stains".Â
