Greece 5.10.1926 PMG Superb Gem UNC 67 EPQ 5000 Drachmai (Specimen)
An amazing offering for the Greek specialist. This type was unissued by the National Bank of Greece as seen here, and only exists in specimen format, in which it is quite rare. The overprinted type issued by the Bank of Greece is a rarity as well in both issued form and specimen, and simply said this is just not a type that comes across the auction block very often. While PMG does not have population data on their website for Pick unlisted notes we have never seen a finer example, and this is probably one of the finest if not the finest example of this type to exist in both issued and specimen format. A note that has everything: an appealing design, high denomination, rare and in top grade. Not to be missed.
