Greece 1.10.1932 P-102s1 PMG About UNC 55 500 Drachmai (Specimen Sheet of 15)
Uncut sheet of 15 specimens from the American Banknote Company archives. Very rare in this form and not offered at public auction for many years. Individual specimen notes are seen from time to time, but a full uncut sheet of 15 is highly unusual. This is the final issue that the American Banknote Company produced for Greece. The 1991 American Banknote Company Archives sale contained a few of these sheets, but most have been cut up and we are not aware of many other intact sheets of this issue. An American Banknote Company Printer's stamp is seen at the upper right.Â
