Straits Settlements 1.1.1925 P-11a PMG Choice Fine 15 10 Dollars
The Straits Settlements $10 from 1925 to 1930 is one of Southeast Asia's most famous banknotes, and it is presented here in nicely circulated, problem-free grade. While it obviously spent considerable time in circulation it is free from any major distractions, although we do need to note an ink stamp on the back, not unusual for these notes and not distracting. The initial date of the series is present on this example, which was printed in England by Thomas De La Rue. Incredibly popular among collectors of the region and not frequently offered, this is the first example of this denomination we have handled.
