R.E. on both medals. All service medals impressed. Both sets of medals and the Memorial Plaque mounted under perspex in a timber frame (34.5x52.5cm), extremely fine.

Private William Hope, 18th (Queen Mary's Own) Hussars, age 20, the son of Robert and Agnes Hope of Alnick in Northumberland, died 27January 1916 and is buried or commemorated at Quarry Cemetery, Vermelles, France.
