LANCASTER. Henry VI. First reign, 1422-1461. AR Groat (27mm, 3.48 g, 5h). Rosette-mascle issue. Calais mint; im: pierced cross/plain cross. Struck 1430-1431. Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches; trefoils at cusps, mascles in two spandrels / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. North 1446; SCBC 1860. Some roughness and porosity, cleaning scratches, scrape, edge ding. VF.
