LANCASTER. Henry VI. First reign, 1422-1461. AR Halfgroat (21mm, 1.80 g, 2h). Annulet-trefoil/Rosette-mascle mule. Calais mint; im: plain cross. Struck circa 1430. Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches; trefoils at cusps, annulets flanking neck / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. MHG 1i/1; North 1429/1448; SCBC 1855/1862. Toned. Near Fine. Rare – only ten total specimens recorded in MHG.
