YORK. Edward IV. First reign, 1461-1470. AR Groat (27mm, 2.90 g, 5h). Light coinage, type Va. London (Tower) mint; im: rose. Struck 1464-1465. Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches; fleurs on cusps; quatrefoils flanking neck / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters; eye in legend. North 1563; SCBC 1996. Toned, faint scratches under toning, slight bend at edge. VF.
