Electrotype: Islands off Ionia, Samos AR Tridrachm. Unknown maker, circa 19th century. Copying the Symmachy coinage of circa 405/4 BC. The infant Herakles, nude but for baldric over left shoulder, kneeling to right, strangling serpent with each hand; Σ-Υ-Ν around / Facing scalp of lion, ΣΑ below; all within shallow circular incuse.
