INDIA. Kushan Empire. Vima Kadphises (ca. AD 113-127). AV dinar (20mm, 7.98 gm, 1h). NGC Choice XF 5/5 - 3/5, light marks. Attic (Kushan) standard, Bactria, mint A. BACIΛEYC OOH-MO KAΔΦICHC, half-length bust of Vima Kadphises left, arising from mountain range, bearded, flames emanating from right shoulder, wearing peaked tall cap with small sphere within crescent feature at top, loop motif on side, diadem with ties and long ribbons to right, overcoat clasped at chest worn over tunic, knobby club in right hand, hilt with eagle head in left; tamgha in upper right field / Maharajasa rajadirajasa sarvaloga'isvarasa mahisvarasa v'ima kathpisasa tradara (Kharoshthi), Ithyphallic Siva (Oesho) standing facing, head left, nude with erect lingam, grounded trident-axe in right hand, water-pot in left with he-goat skin draped over arm; tamgha in left field, nandipada in right field.
