Facing nimbate figure holding a patriarchal cross and a scroll, frame around; above a smaller panel with a facing nimbate image of Christ. Similar in style to badges published by Mitchiner (1986) Medieval Pilgrim & Secular Badges. Good Very Fine; fragment broken off (repairable with superglue) and chipped on right side; even deep green patina; attractive and fascinating.
