Abbasids, al-Hasan bin al-Bahbah (Governor of Egypt) Glass Weight. No mint, undated, AH 192-194 = AD 808-810. "Mithqal dinar waf" (weight of a dinar, full weight) in center; name of the governor around / Unclear inscription citing the prefect. Cf. Balog 1976, 643-4 (unclear name of prefect on reverse). 4.22g, 29mm.
Condition as seen. An attractive example of yellow transparent glass. Very Rare.
