Commissioned and produced by the East India Company in conjunction with the government of St. Helena, with Royal Approval of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This coin is a modern re-interpretation of the iconic Una and the Lion Found Pound piece by William Wyon, issued in 1839 for inclusion in the first specimen coin sets of Queen Victoria's reign.

Labelled as a 'Pattern Proof' by East India Company. Comes with the original box as issued by the Mint. The decorative sleeve is missing.
