China International Banking Corporation, Shanghai 10 Dollars 1.1.1905 Pick S420s S/M#M10-3 Specimen PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. An exceptional high graded is present on this grandly sized example produced by the American Banknote Company. All colors are excellent, with embossing so strong that a light wave in the paper is seen in the center of the note. As this bank was eventually bought by the City National Bank of New York (Citibank), most issued notes were redeemed, leaving Specimen such as this the most accessible to collectors.
