China Yunnan Provincial Bank 50 Silver Yuan 1949 Pick UNL Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. An intriguing variety prepared by the Hong Kong Printing Press that is not recorded in the Standard Catalog. Yunnan is the only large province without a provincial bank issuing banknotes. Instead, the largest issuer in the province was the well capitalized private Fu-Tien and New Fu-Tien bank.
