Denmark 1967 P-47d PMG Superb Gem UNC 67 EPQ 500 Kroner
A very scarce type from Denmark, seldom offered for sale, particularly at this grade level. This was the highest denomination in a series first introduced in the early 1950s, although this type was first issued in 1963. It was printed in fairly small numbers, and with its high contemporary face value, has become one of those post World War II notes that has become very challenging to acquire. This is the single finest in the PMG population report and features the final date of issue. Please note PMG has misattributed this note as Pick-47c, but it is in fact Pick-47d, 1967 with A1 prefix.
