A fantastic large-format French Colonial note from Africa, seldom offered in this grade. Seen here in fully issued form, this note (meant for the region that includes present-day Djibouti) is one of the quintessential types issued by the Banque de L'Indo-Chine that belongs in every serious collection of French colonial paper money. Fantastic originality is seen on this example, which is free of pinholes that typically plague French-printed notes.
