Greece 7.6.1903 P-47 PMG Choice Fine 15 25 Drachmai
A rarity from Greece, not to be confused with the fairly common P-52, which shares the same design but later dates. The 1903 issue of this design is very scarce in any grade and seldom offered for sale, typically only when advanced collections are sold. This is the first example of this Pick number that we have the privilege to offer. The grading service notes some minor repairs, but they are virtually impossible to distinguish in the third-party holder, and if anything have enhanced the appearance of this piece. An important opportunity for the Greek specialist. PMG mentions "Minor repairs".
