A choice uncirculated example of the second highest denomination in the popular "Lady Lavery" series of Ireland, which was in circulation from 1928 until the late 1970s. This 50 Pound bears the final date of issue, and it is seen here in fully original condition. Due to its grand size it has picked up some handling over the years, but the eye-appeal is excellent, and this would fit right into a type set of this popular series.
