MACEDON. Neapolis. Circa 424-350 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.07 g, 12 h). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. NEOΠ Head of the nymph of Neapolis to right, her hair coiled around her head and with a bun at the back. AMNG III/2, 9-10. HGC 3.1, 588. SNG ANS 455-459. Nicely toned. Very fine.
