ARGOLIS. Argos. Circa 90-50 BC. Triobol (Silver, 15 mm, 2.38 g, 6 h), Hieron, magistrate. Forepart of a wolf at bay to left. Rev. Large A; below, eagle standing right; in fields, [I]-E/P-Ω/NO-Σ in three lines. BCD Peloponnesos 1177. HGC 5, 692. SNG Copenhagen 42. Nicely toned. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about very fine.
