IONIA. Phokaia. Circa 521-478 BC. Hekte (Subaeratus, 10 mm, 2.31 g), a contemporary plated imitation. Confronted heads of two boars; above, small seal. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. Bodenstedt 45 (for prototype). Very rare. Deposits and minor breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
