Stater (Silver, 26 mm, 10.91 g, 10 h). 𐡁𐡏𐡋𐡕𐡓𐡆 ('b'ltrs' in Aramaic) Baaltars seated left on backless throne, his body turned to front, holding an eagle, a grain ear and a vine branch with a bunch of grapes in his right hand, and long scepter in his left. Rev. 𐡌𐡆𐡓𐡂 ('mzdy' in Aramaic) Lion attacking bull to left; below, 𐡌; all within linear circle. Cf. Casabonne Series 2, Group A (for prototypes). An attractive and unusual contemporary imitation. Some scratches, otherwise, very fine.
