KINGS OF SOPHENE. Mithradates II Philopator, circa 89-after 85 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 16 mm, 4.10 g, 6 h), Arkathiokerta (?). Diademed and draped bust of Mithradates II to left, wearing bashlyk tied with a diadem. Rev. [B]AΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΜΙΘΡΙΔΑΤ / ΦΙΛO Club; all within wreath. Kovacs 35. Numerous cleaning scratches and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
