SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos I Soter, 281-261 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 17.13 g, 12 h), Seleukeia on the Tigris. Diademed head of Antiochos I to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, monogram of ΜΤΕ; to outer right, monogram of ΜΠΔ and Ω. SC 379.5a. Well struck and with an impressive portrait. Good very fine.
